| New Years Ice Dive
| A club tradition. Come out and enjoy the trill of diving in the crisp, clear, calm winter water. We'll be diving Lake Kohlmeier (Google Map Link). Diving will start at about 1:00pm. Setup and ice cutting will start at about 11:00am. Certified Divers are welcome to try this exhilarating adventure. Everyone is invited to watch in wonder.

| New Years Dinner
| After a day of fresh air and cold water, warm food, fellowship, and adult beverages finishes off the day. You don't have to dive to enjoy this event. The supper will be at East Wind Buffet, south of Lowe's, at 5 PM. When you come in, say you’re with the dive club; they have part reserved for us.

| Winter 2010 Training
| PADI Classroom and Confined Dives for PADI Open Water Certification. Class meets at ODC club house at 6:00 PM. Confined Dives are following each class session -- usually ~7:00 to 9:00, at the Owatonna Junior High.

| If you have equipment you want to try, want to brush up on diving skills, or just want to see Chuck in his Speedo, this is a good opportunity for all that and more. Life Guard and Dive Masters will be present for your safety. Location: Owatonna Junior High School (Club members and family's only)

| Tank Hydro Testing
| If you own a tank that requires Hydro Testing sometime in 2010, this is probably the most convenient and affordable way to get that testing done. The club has made arrangements with a DOT Certified inspector. to Hydro Test our scuba tanks. To be included in this event, please have your tank at the club by Thursday March 18th (Pump Night). The actual date of the inspection has not yet been determined but will likely be one of the 7 days following March 18th. More information will be posted here as it becomes available. The estimated cost is $20 for the Hydro Test, and $5 for Eddy Current. The actual price will be posted here when it has been determined -- it may depend on the number of tanks being inspected. If you don't have your tank to the club by March 18th, you'll need to make your own arrangements to have it Hydro Tested.

| Visual Inpections (VIP)
| If you own a tank, chances are it requires an annual Visual Inspection (VIP). Certified inspectors will be performing VIPs at Thursday Pump Night for the next 3 weeks. In many cases, you can wait while your tank is being inspected. Please bring your tank to the club house between 7:00 and 8:30. For those who are interested in seeing how inspections are done, feel free to stop by and watch as our certified inspectors do their thing. Stay tuned for information about a Inspection Certification class offered by Owatonna Divers Club.

| Isle Royal 2010
| For our 2009 trip, we had fourteen divers and five boats. This has got to be our limit. The fourteen that went in 2009 will have first chance to go again. If they aren't going, then we can take off of a standby list.
Also, one of the boats had four people in it. We will be trying for two to a boat, or maybe three in some of the bigger boats.
